Find the router gateway
Once you find the gateway you will be able to access and confirm the router settings and configure the wifi setup settings, internet settings and more.

Using Mac?
- Click the “Apple” menu.
- Select “System Preferences”.
- In the “System Preferences” window, click the “Network” icon.
- Select your network connection (Wi-Fi or wired connection) and then click the “Advanced” button.
- In the “Network” window, select the “TCP/IP” tab. Your router’s IP address is listed as “Router.”
Using Windows?
- Press the Windows Key on your keyboard. Type ‘cmd’.
- Click on ‘Command Prompt’.
- In the black window type ‘ipconfig’.
- The Default Gateway number is your router’s IP address. Make a note of this.
This is great news because it can possibly be a wifi setting on the router
Please try the following to fix it.
There will only be one setting that needs to change in the router and that is the wifi channel from auto to channel 11.
Open up the internet browser then insert the router gateway in the address bar at the top.
Now login and go to wireless or wireless 2.4 and change the channel.
Once this is done then save the changes and please restart the router by powering it off and then on again.

The process is virtually the same for all routers.
Login to the router and go to the wireless settings, the wireless password to your network will be located under the wireless security settings.
Once you found the wireless security settings and the wifi password then you should be able to change it or leave it as is and use it to connect to the router wirelessly.
